UK Blog Awards came to us in need of a revamp of their WordPress site from another design agency. Their site involved adding each entrants details to the site to create their public page for the voting process. During the voting process the WordPress site created such a high server load their site timed out and crashed the server they hosted their site on.
With a move to the Drupal CMS, a fresher look to the site and a move to our hosting services the whole user experience was enhanced. Users could now create their entry and log in to edit. All the process was automated reducing the manual time needed each year for the awards.
As the client was happy with our expertise, the look of the new site and our friendly service, they decided to move their print and graphic design work over to us. This resulted in us creating 100 page awards brochures, personalised certificates for the winners, roller banners and ID badges for the ceremony.
